Hi

How can i solve the problem of the signal ( network ) in nokia 5110 v.5.28 which is up and down , up and down ??

to reflash it with the same version and same language pack.

ANd if this does not help run tests i WinTESLA, at least there are DLL for 5110, and you DO have an MBus cable..

I think first that u will refreash the phone with newer version, it may help

Hi Moc, I had the same problem with my 6150 V5.02 the signal bouncing from full to only one stripe in a couple of seconds. Is solved this problem by putting a new antenna in the phone and solder with a hot iron gun around the area where the antenna connect the PCB. Hope this solution works also for you good luck.

I guess flashing in one way or another helps our phone much easier to fix, but have to tried looking its hardware defect? Sometimes full flashing especially nokia 5110 turns out to be good, you dont have to full flash it anymore.

Check the voltage control oscillator as well as the rf9106 power amp 880-915mhz of the phone, the pw amp is labeled N550 found in the nokia service manual for 5110 under UP8R system module.
