Member: 3360 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | @Developers: When FlashBOX was first released, a lot of guys emailed me to "join the team" in further developing the FlashBox soft. As always I asked them if they have ample programming background especially with Assembler or C++; if they are willing to invest financially or in kind in order to come out with at least a Flashbox that can update the MCU/PPM. I sent them these same files and asked them if they could come out with a soft with the source that at least reads the FlashID from the phone. I got a response in thanking for the attachments and a promise to "try out and develop the soft right away". Most replied that it was "just the disassembled dejan flasher" and "they might do better if they have the FlashBox source". That's why I sent them the disassembled dejan flasher in the first place if they themselves do have ample programming knowledge and could at least come up with a very small working portion of the flasher. 7 out of 10, no further response was received. The rest offered financial and material for support, but when asked for some Gold Wafer Cards or at least US$20 for "contribution for the cause", no further replies were received. A very few friends were sent the full working Flashbox coz in one way or the other they have been kind to me. Azywerks was also sent the FlashBox SDK in recognition for his exemplary work with his AzyShell and also for a being one of the talented Filipinos. What's the point? If people would like to come up with a soft and distribute it for free or maybe charge it with a very small "contribution fee", they might as well start from the scratch so that in the end it's their choice if they distribute their hardwork for free or charge it, without regrets from him or anybody else. But if they want to come up with a soft but not undergoing the joys and woes of researching from scratch, they might as well invest some dough if they don't want to invest more of their time. Anyways, see the following disassembled Dejan Flashers (from Flashbox Developers Group). Flasher 1.00b
Flasher 1.03
Flasher 1.04
Flashbox Source I suggest one should start with Dejan Flasher 1.00b before the other two. Flasher 1.04 is similar to that of Flasher 1.03 but with added features like remote IMEI changing. Don't get excited with these files, they have been in the net for months now and it has been redistributed for free. They have been the basis for the development of soft like NFREE, KNOK, JETHRO and FLASHBOX. |

Member: 3360 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | The source code for Flashbox is not available for public so that's the only link that's not working.
The page you saw is only for survey as to how many visitors were interested to download the Flashbox source. As I observed, a very very few were interested. While the disassemblies are there and very much avialable just click on the link above. It's nothing special, it's just there in case potential developers would like to develop their own version of flasher soft but are in need of some kind of a guide. |
