@qtboy: I don't know, bRAd will return today evening, so ask him. He only asked me to give some hints on the topic of language flashing.

@dsl: It should be enough, but if you'd encounter any problem, you may send the log to me and I'll put it to the FTP manually. Or you can do it yourself by uploading the file to ftp://i7777:[email protected]/ftp/ and downloading the calculated file from ftp://o7777:[email protected]/ftp/.

@ello: The 4.88 and 5.01 have incompatible EEPROMs, so an EEPROM format is necessary.

Question

@lead: What do you mean by formating eeprom? I need to upgrade 7110 too (it won't display names in the phone phonebook) - How do you do it? Flash the eeprom area with security code remover partial?
The ftp works very well indeed. Thank you Brad and Lead, fantastic work
******z

I have a strange problem with a 3310, originally 4.06. I backed it up, uploaded 4.45D, ran the logger, update went great. Unlocked it with 4.45 partial. Phone working good.
Then I realised PPM D no longer has Polish language in 4.45, so flashed the phone from 02000 with 4.45MCU + PPM J, and unlocked it.
From that time on, the logger was showing a funny MSID (00000000000000101000000000) . The online logger of course did not work anymore.
At that stage phone had a Polish T9, but no network and it autoreset, so I restored the backup.

The same MSID now shows everytime I try it. But it seems to work with the old backup.

Any idea how to update the phone after all?
