i've heard that all u need to do is insert a polarised film front of the lcd screen and should invert it. but i havent tried this myself.

Cool

I haven't tried it either but I actually saw the film place on top of the LCD. I tried moving the film but the screen goes blank. I think you also need to change the backlights to get an inverted LCD.

the best way is to change the led to green or white then try to peel off the top layer platic of the lcd and turn it 90 degrees
you will see it inverted

Note: have to heat up the lcd before peeling off the top layer....very hard...do it slowly.

use a razor blade... use wipeout to remove LCD film [top of the LCD] and use lighter fluid to clean LCD and just rotate 90 degrees.

its better to have the backlight change to white otherwise, you wouldn't notice it

Cool

MDR is right, you should also need to replace the backlight with other color (blue, green or white) in order for you to appreciate the display.. and the film had also different color as you rotate it on either side..

there's a possibility that you can damage the LCD and the film while you're removing it so be more careful... much better you should try doing it with your damage LCD... be careful...
