I have just recently upgraded from win98se to win2k. I have just noticed that I can't seem to get the flasher working. How sh1t is that? Are there any work arounds for this? Trying to unlock 6210 v5.17.

Regards...</strong><hr></blockquote><br />Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP traps those instructions that directly accesses the system such as the instructions that directly access the printer port. Such access are technically called "level 0" access or ring0.

Dejan's Flasher, Flasher-shells, Jethro, NU2000 and the like won't run on this platforms (Win2k, NT, XP) coz they'll encounter a "Priveleged instruction" error.

The work around to this is to reprogram the soft to "ask" the system for a ring0 access to allow it to directly access the printer port.

In unlocking your 6210v5.17, run these unlockers (Dejan Flasher, Flasher-shells, Jethro, NU2000, etc.) in Windows 95, 98, or ME.

Or obtain an unlocker specifically made for Windows NT, 2000, or XP.
