using 7110 modem and laptop - GSM-Forum

i was wondering if anyone knew how i can connect my 7110 to my laptop to go on the internet with it, ive got the cable and i have installed the modem files but nothing, i have created the dial-up network but the phone does not ring out, any suggestions?

your cable should be the DLR-3P cable and not the oridinary fbus 51/61 cable for it to work.

install nokia data suite 3, and just use the virtual com port + gsm soft modem

you can also buy a infrared, and it work very well, don't forget to install the driver for the modem, you find it on nokia web site

yes your problem virtual modem not installed or fail loaded!!! you re install data studio
