weird 9210i ??

i have a 9210i that dont accept any sim cards ? I havent found any prog that can unlock it, i have tried all progs that is said to fix it. Eeprom tools 3.1 cant read it at all, 4.0 can read phone info sometimes but not open sp locks or update eeprom. Rolins479 is the only prog that reads the phone info every time, it can also update imei. Unfortunatlit this version doesnt support open sp locks and uppdate faid and eeprom

Any suggestions ? what ive read most ppl are using eeprom tools 3.1 and 4.0, but they just wont work for me ? Cable is 100% ok.

Regards Leeloo

If eeprom tools won't read your phone, your problem is the cable. Try connecting the wires of a standard nokia mbus cable (red and black), to the right-most pins when you have the keyboard facing up. I can't remember off-hand which one is gnd and which one is mbus, so try both. This should work fine for you!

it reads it sometimes. rolins reads it everytime.

upper right is gnd, and lower right is Mbus. Cable is ok, i have checked it with other phones i have laying around.

Eeprom tools just wont open sp locks and update eeprom ??

Try reflashing phonewith a Griffin, there could be some bug in the Symbian O.S..
Also try formating the phone using CTR + SHIFT + F on startup.
What software version is it? I have tried unlocking my 9210i v6.00, and no problem...
Good luck!
