Weird problem to unlock a 2760 - GSM-Forum

Customer came in to my shop and has an old nokia 2760 on BT Spain. She was sent a new sim by the provider, but her new sim has come up asking for a restriction code! I said this isn't possible unless they have perhaps changed the network they piggyback off the service.(was my only guess).

So anyway when I try and unlock the phone it says

card found: S/N 3**5:45**
Port COM4 open OK
Connect phone on selected interface... Wait...
Phone found...

Phone in Charging mode
Seting Local mode...
Local mode set
Phone Nokia 2760 connected - Ok
IMEI 359817014****51
Read Lock Info
Locked to Unknown providers
Server return error mesage...

Port COM4 close

So it seems to be locked to an unknown provider and I am not able to unlock it with any DCT4plus software!

Any clue? I will flash it next but got a feeling that probably wont help except perhaps if I use the old Jaf flash/unlock. Failing that any idea please?

If you work in this area, you must purchase a product designed to work unlock
or go to a specialist center
unlock must have a product that works well and have a good support team there are many types can be searched

i solved that by writing good PM and unlock and set it to defaults after that.

use universal box to unlock it.
