I recently purchased a nokia 8910i off e-bay and it worked great for a few weeks but now it has been barred for use in the uk.

Is there a way of changing the IMEI so that it can work in the UK?

replace uem chip , use an imei rebuilder to write new imei and that is all.

It means alot Br. specially in U'r case , U dont belong to the GSM
feild career, So U need somebody to fix it , In england it may
cost U between 1/2 to equall the price of the phone because it is
a complecated prosess and it needs clever and instumentation
( U need to replace a chip and reprogram it with the phone, wich
is not easy at all ).

Except if one of the british Brs here offers to help U

its forbidden in u.k

but its very easy in egypt
