8310 problem: HW or SW? - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I've got 8310 which does not swich on.
Tried to flash it, but SW writes "no loader for flash ID 0x00000001-0x120" or something alike (but the ID is exactly as I wrote).
I would like to know if this is a HW problem (e.g. faulty flash chip) and what should we check to repair it.

I'm using HW whats called "cheap flasher".

i had a 8310 similar problem .. it was a hardware problem coz it had fell in water

Hi,

You need to use Phoenix to diagnose this fault.

The error message you quoted does not carry any information
for the problem you have.

Hi!

Can I use cracked phoenix with F/Mbus cable to diagnose this phone? As I wrote before it won't power up.
