Nokia 6230 "Camera Operation Failed"
 

Hi

I have a Nokia 6230, which has a problem with the camera. I have removed the memory card from the phone and when i go to camera it comes up with the following message:

"Operation Failed, Memory full delete items from Gallery"

There are no items in the gallery and i have also formated the memory. If i insert the memory card into the phone, it still comes up with the same message but when i change its location to the memory card, then camera will work.

Any Ideas??

flash the phone it will be ok i am test seem problem

Try a full reset of the phone.

ive the same problem with version 4.24 and i flashed the phone with version 4.44 but the same .. ''Operation Failed, Memory full delete items from Gallery''

then .. i put Full Factory Reset .. and nothing change ..
i think that the problem is in a circuit ..

can anybody confirm this question ?

No need to change camera. I had the same problem. Make full reset in Griffin, will be ok. (If not , format user area).

change soft v5,24 and change good PM I have the same problem ,now its OK

try to format drive using jaf or prodigy. if it failed, you have problem with the flash ic. Check it using tornado, twister (any saras soft) and see if software can read the second flash ic.... :D

do not need to change ur camera pls use griffin for format user area , u get ur problem

hi i have 6230 when i open camera the picture is not coming but when i capture it , it shows me the photo can any1 help.................. me . I think that this problem can be solve by upgrading this phone fropm 4.24 to 5.24 . Do any one have that file pls give it to me

I faund a same foullt ,phone today,
I was flash two times with griffin and ufs but same, after I re-heat flash ic ,then it work very well....

i have a nokia 6230 phone but everytime i try to use the camera it says operation failed i have had someone to look at it and thay say it has had water damage n carnt be fixed is there any chance it could be fixed some how cfan any one please help me thanks

water damaged phones are hard to fix and, in time, they get worst. try to find in this forum a member located near you. maybe your phone can be recovered after all

2 all these probelms are Common now a days in 6230 , 6230i & 3220 . Try to flash with Grrifin & format user area , even if it dosen't flashes. Than if it won;t work than give hot air to camera & gallery chips ,. It will work Insh***** ,,i hav sort it out several by using this way .

I have following some ideas

The first, we should resolve it by SW, If phone is still the same, we will resolve it by HW

1. Check Camera & Socket Camera
2. Check User Flash
3. Check UPP

All Problem is always here

Try to reheat D451 IC, I Had same problem and I reheat this IC and now is this problem liqidated.

same probléme resolved with flash v4.44
mobile work 100%

try flash MCU+PPM+CNT same version, if not working, change camera or camera ic

for "operation failed" & if not "memory Full" it's 100%% hardware problem check cristal ic at side Camera ic

As some people and also me posted allready. It is 100% hardware problem.
Try to reheat D451 IC, I Had same problem and I reheat this IC and now is this problem liqidated.

Resolder flux vga d-451 testeado 100% gallery and memory ok ok ok ok
