Pimp my phone :) 6310 with 100% colour lcd ! - GSM-Forum

Hello forum members,

As i wrote - it's 6310 with 100% colour lcd.
Not colorized like cheap sagem phones, lcd comes from 3510i.

Are you interested how to do it?
Firstly find working 6310, NOT 6310i (you have to use 6310 because it's dual band like 8910i which is based on hagar).
Backup imei area in flash (use jaf or karwos suite or..)
Change flash ic into K5U64418TM.
Flash mcu, ppm and cnt using 8910i flashes.
Write .rpl, pm from 8910i, full defaults+unlock.
Change lcd into 3510i (use glass only, frame from 6310i).

After this you have working phone. Maybe you will need to increase backlight( chang leds etc).

I think about putting white led driver, then it should looks better.
Also there is a project with polyphonic melody.
If you are interested in this project then let me know, maybe we can made polyphonic together.

This is big thing!!! This phones are still unbitable business phones for people that don't need some extra special functions......and now you made new LONG waiting update for this model 6389i !

TO make life easy for me which model/phone can i remove this flash ic K5U64418TM from?
I will do a erase flash on the phone using JAF then change it over to the 6310 and follow your procedure.

you can find this ic in Nokia_DCT4 : 3100,3120, 3200, 6100, 6200, 8910i.
You must use this flash ic because it's combo flash.
here's full info about it:

Samsung combo flash.
64Mbit FLASH (4M x16) + 4Mbit SRAM (256k x16)
Vcc=1.8V
TOP boot block
ID=00EC22F2

there is only ONE solution - desolder old one and sold k5u644..

First: it's not so easy, but I will do research and let forum members in near future.

Wanted to know something..
You said that i can remove the flash from 3100,6100 etc..right..
Do you think that if i first flash the phone (3100, 6100, etc.) with the 8910i Software, write RPL then remove it from that phone then take it out and transfere to 6310.... will it work?

It will not work becaue imei in uem in your 6310 will be different than imei in flash.
1. Take WORKING 6310 2.backup imei in flash, 3.put new or used flash, 4.write sw, 5.write rpl which was made in point 2. got it?

OK Gom3z excellent achievement but can u tell me how can i back imei in flash using HWK or UFS?

I would like to try and change this model ,,,

Secondly how can we do this with 6310i ? Or is it not possible ?
