And the answer is simple....... YES!

You only have to know the code to reset the security flags in UEM....simple

And we are needing ESN Solution for all those shi/t/ty Nokia´s that newest TELCEL owners (Telefonica Spain) are pushing; if you watch a Telcel TV AD, you´ll only find Nokia´s, they are getting rid of Much more beautiful (but "serviceable") Motorola´s, Samsung´s, etc.

As far as i know, OTP protection is not based on code. its based on fuses, that are destroyed after programming, so i can just think two things:

-If imei is stored OTP, theres no way you can change imei.

-Maybe what you are saying is correct, and imei is not OTP, it just has its security flags so it cannot be overwritten.

But if the second was truth, why noone has done it yet? because there are very good programmers here, and sure they have investigated on that.

And i got a 3650 with corrupt flash, and what nokia did to repair it,was change UEM directly and reflash and reprogram imei, i have the bill for it. it was 53 Euro for the operation.
