Member: 6986 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 8310 contact service after full flashing by DCT4 Here I have 8310 V4.53 have callgroup funtion fail and I upgreat it to V5.06 , the phone was still not fix , After that I reflash it turn to V4.53 and the phone now contact service . I have reflashing it to highest version but till Contact service , any ony have meet this problem please tell me some thing Thank you |

Member: 9875 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Hi Billgate Most of the contact service problem in the 8310 ( or we can say DCT4 phones ) is because of the Simlock self test which could not be fixed by flashing, upgrade or downgrade and the only way for now to correct or fix this problem is the log file for many kinds of software. |

Member: 9875 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi Billgate I had FPS-8 for a period of time and it can check the contact service phones for the cause or the fault that causing the contact service and most of the contact service I got ( about 95%) is because of the Simlock self test and the only way to solve or correct this is the log files ( unlock and contact service repair logs) and I had correct it using Griffin logs. |

Try to repair eeprom of course you need pay log but if you repair phone that's good  good luck my friend, G-tech |

Member: 4217 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 28 | DCT4 flasher by b-phreaks will solve all your problems. First of all you can run self tests to determine the exact reason for the CS. If it is simlock area then read log file of and email it to supplier (us). When you receive the log back upload it to the phone and CS will be cured. If it is not in the simlock area you can upgrade the software version. The b-phreaks solution works on all current dct4 handsets, has a built in logger, self test features of phoenix, small compact unit and no external power needed. |
