1208 strange insert sim problem - GSM-Forum

Got a 1208 with Insert sim problem.
I've changed its sim ic, also tried putting jumpers to it, changed battery connector, charging base but still three points of sim tray showing short.
I've also tried resolder UEM and UPP.

Here's the image to show which points are getting short----->>>>.

If I remove sim ic or its jumpers, these points dont show short.

Need suggestion.

i tested many times
but after that u need calculate rpl

first step to slove the insert sim of 1208
clean the charging pin before you chance the sim ic or uem

Most of the inseart sim problem come from charging jack or connecter .So please check it And best of luck to you

Must be charging connector water damaged and remove local mode and replace new charging connector this soluation tasted by me many time and solve my problume .

insert sim sim ic change but when connect battery sim point short with gnd after 5mint shorting fnish again connect battery short plz replay i am waiting for u

sim connector,oppogit gnd connection open to pcb ans connect batt pogtive (+) connection
