3200 blue screen
 

hi all,

i have a nokia 3200 which has a dark blue screen when i switch on. i have tried several new lcds but still the same, the phone from inside is clean and free from water damage. i can use the phone but cant see.

can someone please help any solution to this problem

most of the problem cause by drop, try to check the signal from upp ,that means the resitor beside power on switch! :D

I have same problem with a 3200....

you must change or move upp its a most valid solution

there got small resitor beside the on\off switch (upper part of the power amp), just check it ... :p

I have one with same problem, screen lights up but remains blue. already checked the resistors besides and below the on/off switch, everything looks alright but phone still reacts the same even after reflowing these resistors...Should i try reflowing something else? :P thanks

I have even tried s/c the resistors to see screen reaction but still the same remains blue..any tips?

iv got the same problem in 5100 that happened when I replaced the on-off switch

Can anyone with a service manual fro 3200 read the resistor values and put these values here?It looks to be a very common problem.. :)

The resistor is R309
so r=resistor and 309=309 ohm

try change screen or remove screen and erasse flash and fullflash

As the other guys said you have to check the resistors named:
R308
R309
R310

And all of them are 220 Ohms and NOT 309

Check them or resolder them and you will be fine

mr leo your pic for only 3100 not for 3200 ,and the 3200 look lick 7250 the same ,

Those pics are from the nokia 3200 service manual. Try to double check before you post :)
