3250-stripped down to toggle-what now? - GSM-Forum

hi. hope someone can help me. ive stripped my 3250 right down to expose the toggle switch (its not working). the red 'hang up' button and the green 'send' buttons arent working either. could this be a problem with a surface mount component (cap/resistor),all the tracks look ok. or do the 2 buttons not work when the switch is faulty? i would hate to have to replace the stick on button panel that the toggle switch and buttons are mounted to.. that looks beyond my limits! has anyone encountered this problem before? thanks,,,,,phil...

clip back the the 2 connecters proper .that should work

may have solved it... i stripped it down further and have found a couple of broken tracks in the flexy strips between the screen and the screen plug, (i think i did this- as the screen was working fine before). the other is the flexy strip (?) between the switches/toggle switch strip and the board it goes to. this would explain the toggle switch not working and the send/hang up button. if i can repair these tracks it may work....
