3310 "4,7,*" keys not working!


my keys on my 3310 are not working 4,7 and * all dont work and i have try changing the keypad but still no luck?

Check the line beetween keys 1,4,7,*, maybe it shortcuted, if not, check ur CPU pls, maybe it unsoldered or damaged!

Place a jump wire to connect the outer circles of numbers 1 & 4.

how do i check if the line is broken because looking at the keys i cant see no lines? Also is good to re-flow the CPU instead of changing it?

below the keypad light there are two transistor which have five pins, on the upper part replace that one,maybe this could solve your problem

No, You might just damage the unit especially if it's sealed, don't touch/re-flow the CPU, there's no need coz you only got a broken line. Just place a thin wire from the outer circles of numbers 1 & 4. As you have said, only 4,7 & * keys are not working, and since the outer circles of 1, 4, 7, * & clear keys must all be connected, the working number 1 being the closest must be bridged to the non working number 4 (outer circles).
