3310 auto restart - GSM-Forum

Hi to all.
Today I encountered nokia 3310 auto restart then ask for pin code when stand by mode. Even it was ver 4.18 I don't think old removing L511 and replacing resistor and cap can help. I already updated it to ver 5.55
Now how to repair it?

I think there was a service bulletin about this, on some PCB boards, you need to change a resistor. It might not be the cause of your problem but it might be! Read the service bulletins

Gsmsalers,

let we say, it does not SW problem and it is not water damage !

replace flash rom, if it is not intel !
replace ccont and 32.768Khz path !

willy, (replace flash rom, if it is not intel !) what do you mean if it is not intel ?

IF it is ST flash rom , then rreplace to INTEL flash rom !
