3310 hangs by entering picture message

Hi!

My 3310 always hangs by entering into menu PICTURE MESSAGE<br />It was version 4.35.<br />Then i downgraded to version 4.24 and 4.06, but same failure.<br />After that i desoldered L511...same problem ;-(

Any solution?

Have you tried applying SFS(UI, SCM, SMS Data one at a time) using nokiatool?

Try also manually uploading picture messages to all the picture message slots. But try neb's tip first.

did you try to reset phone in nokia tool....select all things except..U/I settings..then aplay sfs setinds..then sw reset..... <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> ))

hey bro;

try to remove the L511 that will solve your problem.i've tried it when i repaired a 3310 that automatically turns off.after i repaired the auto off then it started to hang when i enter the picture message.after removing the L511 the hanging of the phone suddenly disappeared...

If you have ST Flash IC in the phone ,create full backup,then replace Flash IC with new one,then write backup in the phone.<br />Good Luck
