3310 help needed - GSM-Forum

i have a 3310 that was water logged i cleaned it well and flashed it it is working wel only one problem battrey drains by itself soon .that is even if i only keep the phone on till afternoon the battrey drains till half without me using it there is no network problem also . all works well except the battrey . i even changed the battrey but same problem exists. please help

Change ccont.if not change PA

The PA could be shorted. Try changing it before u change CCONT. SOmetimes it may show proper network and work properly, but consumption may be high. Also check the PCB for any other short circuits under a magnifier...as there still may be shorting due to water logging. I'd recommend clean it thoroughly and dry it again and then if required chaneg the PA, if no results, then check the CCONT. Good luck!

1. clean the board with ultrasonic cleaner.
2. Rehot PA, If still change the PA Ic
3. Change the Power Ic (CCONT).
