3310 LCD doesnt work - GSM-Forum

Hello i have a 3310 that doesnt show anything on the LCD, i have changed the LCD, but nothing, i have replaced C409 and C410, but nothing, any ideas ? what is the resistence that makes the pullup for the data line of the lcd ? maybe some schematic ?

bad, or bad soldered MAD2

Check line: LCD pin 1 -> C409, C413, VBB and line: LCD pin 7 - > C410, C412.
Check/replace C409, C410, C412, C413.
Then check line from LCD pin 4 to ROW5 (J301 testpoint).
Then check line from LCD pin 8 (LCDRSTX) to testpoint J314.
Then check line from LCD pin 2 to testpoint J303.
Finally, check line from LCD pin 3 to R304 and check/replace R304.

If all that doesn't help, and you are sure that your LCD and SW is OK, replace MAD. Good Luck!

I have find some manuals but none shows the location of the testpoints of the cpu, only the testpoints of the baseband part............

Does anyone knows where can i find a manual that shows the location of the the testpoints : J301,J314,J303
