3315 blank LCD = strange !!! - GSM-Forum

I have 3315 with blank LCD only looks clear.
Reflash no helps. Change 2 little Chap & 2 big Chap no helps.
Rehot CPU from other side no helps.
With Voltmeter looks that voltage of LCD pins are WRONG.
Pin 2 is 1.5 volts that should be 0 volts.
Pin 4 is 1.5 volts that should be 2.8 volts.

Please anyone expert help !!! I'm confused !!!

probably water damaged, or broken links, look at SM for direct links from CPU

First of all tell us waht volage meter you have used.
Osciloscope is recomendet....
Tell us some more details:
Do contrast working..... Do you see complitly black screen... Do you see screen without contras? Do you se garbage???

i use both digital and analog voltmeter,
i still ordering an oscilloscope too ( on the way ), due i face many phones have rf component faulty.
Contast : i haven't check it.
Not black screen but looks clear bright ( almost no contrast at all ).
I still be able to see Garbage ( do you mean a rectangular shadow ( very2 thin ) ? )

I'll try that direct connection this afternoon.I'll post result

I'm sure it's not water damaged, just pure hardware. But I hope not CPU cause it's Glued ( spending too much time )

your phone must have A WATER problem.try your phone with another lcd
to check . if it contiunes,then check the flux position.

@arif_tual: Do not change PA. Wait till osciloscope will arrive.
The correct sequance of dispaly comunication you can find in philips's datasheet.
There are only few word abot LCD In nokia service manual.

Check contrast voltage and D/C_(Data/Command) line....
