I have the same problem, the 3410's LCD display is garbled. The phone was dropped. Checked he phone through wintesla but self test does not find any problem, only the display. Anyone else experience this and have solution? I will try to grab a new LCD for this but I doubt that it will work.

Check supply voltages for display...

Check four capacitors C409/410 and C412/413

is it the display only or the phone is not responding to any thing
if the phone is not responding that is mean contact service, you can flash the phone

if it is only the display and every thing is ok like you said try there is three risesntants on the pack og the lcd connector ant the phone bord thry to check that and tell me
