have a 3410 with no ring the phone will vibrate but no sound i have seen with the 3310 you join pin 6 of the chip next to the speaker to the lower speaker connection to solve the problem does this work with the 3410 ?

that case is line cut from said pin 6 ( UI) to connector for 3310,,
incase if your 3410 line cut too, ofcouse it will work !

Do you have this little but very helpfull thing called multimeter?

Use it!

One of the ringer pads must be conected to pin 6 of UI IC. (you can see thet in service manual). Put your multemeter in "beep mode" and soon you will know that this line is broken or not

also on others side of ring connector pad, it is connect to VB ( to battery V+)
check it too !
