Member: 31898 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Try Logo Manager. It's the same trouble many people has: the cable doesn't switch to FBUS mode, needed for MobiMB or OPMII and other software (this is actualy, the only protocol those programs are working with!). LogoManager can work with MBUS mode, but with lot of trpubles (no direct sending of logos, etc., just via SMS, but it's better than a dead cable, huh?)... unfortunately, there are other members here with branded (and expencive) cables with the same problem !!! I'm starting to think that the catch is in the phone: looks like the phone software don't allow the cable to switch to needed FBUS mode ?! I hope I was helpfull.... at last it's always good to try.... Chele p.s. Anybody knows how to switch (SOLDER!) the cable manualy? Or, to put it another way, anybody has schematics?! p.p.s I also have a chinese cable, and after all of this troubles, it's better to resolder it than to cut it dead!! Aaaargh! |

Member: 10672 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | I found the answer 100% tested! I desolder the conector from my cable, and make a new cable using my unlock (misiek scheme) and connect only pins: RX, TX, Gnd and Vcc, without MBUs! Now i can use Mobimb 1.2.3 and polytone phone manager to enrich my phone! |
