5130 keypad problem
 

Hello, I have a nokia 5130 xpressmusic and the middle button controller does not work and neither do the 2 buttons near it. Only the numbers and on/off buttons work. I can hear the beep when the menu button or the others are pressed but there is no effect in the software. Tried reflashing but still have the problem. Is there any solution for this?

Another thing is that when the phone is booting and I press the middle button to skip the nokia intro it works just fine its once it has booted that it won't work.

first clean the pcb well , check or change volume&music player switchs , if same try to replace both keypad esd filters.

Opened the phone an cleaned the pcb well and it's working fine now. Hope it stays this way :D Thanks for everything

nice to hear this , but if problem cames again u should need to change keypad esd filters.

if problems come again just change swicth volume - (s2464) n resistor R2430 n problem solved
