Nokia n97 "connection not available" - GSM-Forum

Hi,i have bought nokia n97 from ebay few week ago. Now when you put sim card in its coming with "sim card registration failed". And ust after few second "connection not available" coming on screen. That means i cant even use on offline mode. Some one said sim card reg. Faild that means blocked phone but why i cant use it on off line mode? That means i cant even use on offline mode. It should workon offline mode. Any one has any idea why is doing that?

Hi every one, ive got an N97 on voda phone, when i put my sim into it, it has reception full bars, but when i make a call it comes up connection failed, please help, all help thanked as normal.

done factory reset, but now no network coverage, tried manual search, but no acces to any network, i believe this means phone is barred, thanks for your help, thanked
