5800 not powering on - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

This is a dropped phone with broken LCD. After changing LCD, the handset wouldn't turn on nor charge. There is no 3v on the power switch. Phone starts with fbus cable and the phone can be turned on and off by the power switch. But with several working batteries, the phone does nothing (not even vibrate).

I reheated Avilma. Does anyone have a solution for this? Change Avilma maybe?

update: Selftest is giving BTEMP_TEST FAILED where another handset is giving PASSED with the same cable.

bsi line is probably broken. check with schematics.
