6100 + time/date resetting - GSM-Forum

everytime i remove battery, time and date of my 6100 gets resetted. obviously the backup battery is playing up. griffin failed the test for it too. anyway, is this battery be purchased off the shelve like other button batteries? and if i change it, does it require soldering? thx...

i'm facing the same problem with my N-gage, Date and Time always reset to default after battery removal, I think this coz on CMOS problem also..

this happen till i have the mobile more than 1 year, so the warranty already over..

I have tried *#7370#, but the problem still come.. but as far as i know, i never got water damage with my mobile or such kind of that...

My N-gage Firmware is v 4.03 NEM-4

so.. what should i do...
i would greatful for anyone help...
