6101 no lcd light - GSM-Forum

Hy guys, i have a problematic nokia 6101, both of the displays work but they are not lightened up. (tested the displays on another phone and worked perfectly ). I've changed the flex ribbon and I have the same problem. Someone just tryed to change the case before with a cheap one and I'm wondering if there was an pesky magnet like on the samsung phones.

Try to check the Light ic located at the LCD UI board. good luck!
