6230i Phone - Powers Up but White Screen - GSM-Forum

Hi - Please help - my husband dropped his mobile a 6230i since then the screen has gone white - no words or logo can be seen - just completely blank - the phone powers up all ok and the buttons beep when pressed but nothing on screen.

the screen saver also powers down - screen fades as normal .

Obviously I am very new at this - so could someone talk me through what software i need, tools I need and what to do to get this working - please . This also happened to his other phone ( builder !!!! - always dropping the phone in plaster or on the gravel _ the other phone is 3510i ) But would like to get the 6230i working first.

You are welcome as a new member in this forum but you are just a mobile user,and as i know you don't have any equipment for flash it,You should contact to your local mobile expert.

this is noy a place 4 phone users but experts womwn visit a nearby shop 4 check up

Try using a knife to lever the cover, a fork to remove the screws, and a spoon to remove the screen.

I'm sure you can find all these tools in your kitchen.
