Vir Agero,

How do you replace Flash IC?? Isn't it there is some sort of clear covering on all 4 sides of the Flash IC, If you try to hot air someone says you might damage the Flash IC?? Any technique you get in replacing them?? Pls post here. Thanks....kabayan

Epic

Flash ICs where never underfilled by Nokia, except the flash/ram combo in 82xx. No technique, only practice.

Dear frind , before you touch the flash ic , chek the hagar ic
If hagar is damaged , there is no power and you can flash the phone

i know this sounds obvious but is your battery fully charged????
lots of my friends have had problems trying to fix ocntact service by flashing with nearly flat batteries... result no power up it looks like it flashes ok but won't switch on tried same phone with fully charged battery worked perfect
might work... might not.. worth a try though
