6210 cannot make a call - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have a 6210 that has full signal but everytime I try to call it drops signal and picks up signal afterwards, what could be the problem. Somebody, please.

Hi Black-Axe

Have you tried changing the P.A and antenna switch?
often after desoldering the P.A you can see that its cracked

Thanks alot for your reply DMD, but after I took off the PA and antenna switch the phone died, which was very strange, I put it back and checked if I moved any chips while taking off PA, but I didn't and phone is dead. I'll keep checking.

Maybe you melted power switch,check for play in it.Or plug a charger in the phone and see if it charges.

My phone is back on again but the problem now is after change pa it still has full signal but when I call out signal drops and when call ends, signal comes back up again.

have you tried bridging the ariel switch?
this sometimes works

look like a hagar problem. reballs or change it if need.

Thanks alot people for you replies, I really appreciate.

I'll try and change hagar and cobba but phone is very weird, 'cos I just changed PA again and signal pick up and drop after 5 seconds, so I don't think its PA problem 'cos its a new PA.

When I change hagar and cobba, I'll let you know.
