6210 came in with no network. reflowed cobba now cs.is cobba problem.thanx for this great forum and its members.peace

when u reflowed cobba it will be short may be

but read in eeprom tool 3.01 with data cable it will show u the actual problem

If you have prodigy box try to make a test on the phone if the results is cobba paralel test faild that mean youhave to change the cobba
if it gave you any checksume test faild that mean you have a software problem try to reflash the phone again

sorry guys, had problem getting eeprom tools then did not know how to use it.
here are results i got.
test- cobba parallel test failed
security data test failed
manual- cannot read ppm version.

It's obviously clear that U makes a "dry join" pin or more when
U aplies heat over the cobba, simply use adequated flux and
reflow it again. If u see insert sim agian recalculate and reset
factory settings. Good luck.

I have the same probblem,.... no dry joints... already put 2 new cobbas and same sh** ...
Sometimes it gives me this - cobba parallel test failed
or this security data test failed erros with EPROM TOOLS

OK let's try this..
Check Vbb 2v8 ,VDC at C119 ,VCobba at C116,C117 = 2v8 ,and
VRef at C109 = 1v5, also check Cobba clock at J317. If faulty still
remaining , probably MAD or PCB .
