6210 - very technical

i have a 6210 with no mbus connection. i have had this problem before and sucssefully solved it by changing components v170 and v171,
sadly two of the pads on V170 are damadge.
i would like to know if i can bridge a small wire (in place of the circuit track) to enable the mbus communication to work again
So does anybody know where these two pads lead too/

picture of the problem

many thanx

Wildwhacker

Emifilt
V170 use for Mbus and CCCINT (charger control interrupt )
V171 use for FBUS TX and RX !

you can fine it from 5110/6110 phone, "E61" , but size might bigger !

try to connect Mbus to R172 !

i dont understand i have changed the components even though the two bottom outer pads of v170 are damaged. are you saying to solder a wire from R172 to both of these terminals.
many thanx for your reply. much appreciated.

Wildwhacker

X001 Mbus connector -> V170 -> pull high at R172 -> then go to CCONT , then from CCONT to MCU !

Wildwhacker,

is it 6210 phone fall down ?

your 6210 must have one part dead at PA or andtenna Switch ,
or RX filter !

you can try enable netmoniter, check at test 001
and see what CH is it display ( when you put VODA card) !

then you can try to open that "top metal plate "
it is include PA, RX/TX/GSM/DCS antenna switch , and also tx detect , RX SAW...........try to see any fragments in those parts !

you can also check, if that TXVGSM, and TXVPCN supply ok or not !

I know, its a very old Threat, but iīve same Problem - canīt connect 6210 with PC to correct FaID (but flashing work fine!)

Must i solder a Bridge direct to resistor R172 (blue Line) from MBus connector, or is it enough from MBus to V170 (green Line)?
