6230 Keys 1,2,3 + DOWN menu not working - GSM-Forum

Hi,
i have one strange Nokia 6230 here which came from another service centre.
There were problem with keys but after changing Z301 keys 1,2,3 + down
menu key are not working. finally i found out as it is attached in picture that
this 6230 have ABSOLUTELY different pinout of Z301!!!
It is written on the picture, COL0 and DOWN doesnt go to c4 and b5 but to
b4 and a5. (and GND is on C1-4)

Pls can anyone tell me where to buy Z301 for this fu*king model?? or if it is
another solution how to solve it...and anyone knows why NOKIA made this
differences??

Yes it is the new stuff problem !. and we need to deal with it unless we are able to get a semiller device .
I suggest U to make bridges across the ESD's pathways !.
Now we have just 2 tracks from the keypad through ESD ,to the UPP . ( try and error ) U will find the right pathway . and other tracks will be as in the photo .
This solution will not keep the UPP protected antistaticaly , but the phone will work

. remmember to watch the solder iron's temprature ( if high it may dammadge the sources , abd if low it may sticks on it and be ripped )

@boba ...

The link U gives to ST semicondutors gives the data sheet of an ESD filter's pinout exactly same as in Platy's attatched picture , he menshens that the new ESD filter have 4 Grnd pins lined at level C1-C4. and he doesnt know what to do , do U have infos about the new chip pins out ?
I'll add this image with my view - repeat MY VIEW - of the new chip pinsout , whou know's.

Damn! I change several Z300 Z301, but my phone not have a key functioning....now, im changed from C62 and now WOOOOORKKK !

Yes - 100% work - nice shot, BTW - next time will easy to check - this "strange" 6230 have full grid microBGA on Z301 instead of standard 4035 type with missed pin on A1 place
