6230 only blinking - GSM-Forum

hi
i have nokia 6230 it's only blinking
first lcd blink (when batery is connected) is white lcd then next blinks are only grey(dark)
it's communicate with griffin, flashing mcu OK, format failed, flashin PPM ok Afer flash failed, no local, test mode etc.

phone don't power on

what should i check ? i try only flashing and rehot pcb only.

u just full erase in ufs and reflash it with new firmware and write good pm

why i heve to erase eeprom? there is no any interesting parameters for powering up

anyway i don't have right PM file and erase file. anybody have backup ?

I have the same prob, erasing doesn't help in my case, i think hardware

javajohn, how do u write a "good pm" on a dead phone?!?
psg try hardware. resoder flash, RAM, leave the NAND alone...
after that try full erase and writing pm etc...

i bought a 6230 with this fault today.

i just reflowed the ram and uem on medium heat - works perfect now. probably just loose / dry joints.

if reflow doesnt work - replace ram, if ram replaced and still no power - replace uem.

Sir i will try whole the procdure but still faulty is it hardware fault???????
