6230 persistent sim problem

Hi, please give me an orientation because I'm going crazy

Nokia 6230 "insert sim", I have changed 3 times sim ic, repaired it but two days later phone comes again with same problem

ok I change sim ic again and again but no solution

then I repair it with the old good "bridging" solution instead of changing sim ic. I maked three wires correctly and phone repaired again

two days later phone comes again with insert sim prob.

then I have maked bridges a lot of times but I can't repair it

anybody can give me any idea?

ur location is the right one, as u have well "burned" this phone

the sim IC (esi filter) is intended to protect UEM from harmful current spikes caused by static discharge.

i think in the beginning, there was some grounding problem in the phone. maybe the SIM reader grounding circuit was not right.

so everytime u fit the new ESI filter, the ESI filter was geting ****n (think of it as a fuse).

when u made the "gool old" bridge method, you put some nice wires that lead the harmful current spikes straight inside the UEM!

without the fuse protection, UEM internal circuits have burned.

so now phone is BER (Beyond Economical Repair)
