6280 screen problems - GSM-Forum

hi folks this is my first post so please be gentle
I aquired a nokia 6280 with a smashed lcd then proceeded to buy a replacement from e**y which stated original lcd but dont believe its a nokia screen
fitted this and no problems its worked ok for a week now on boot up its now showing the nokia start up screen then flashing white screen then blue screen then black screen, my question is this do you think I have bought a inferior screen thats just gone faulty or there is something else wrong

ok folks as recommended searched and searched forums
I thought this was software related how could it be a ribbon or a filter when it behaves in exactly the same way every time you switch it on ,blinks 3 times then switching off, I am just a common man not a phone repair expert
so this is how it was fixed.
With the help of MOBILELATHAM downloaded nokia diego, and pheonix 2006 with crack and pheonix 2007 update,after many hours these were sucessfully installed and with a dk2 cable and a usb port using dead phone flashing ,the lastest firmware was installed but by mistake I used the product code for a 6288 not 6280 . Neverless it worked and now have a working 6280 .
