6300 Changing the SIM IC - GSM-Forum

Hey my Brand new Nokia 6300 which ive had for 1 month is no longer reading my Sim Card. The phone is kept in good condition and had no contact with water. The phone works fine it just cant read the sim card? My Stupid Service providers said they will fix it for free but it will take 5 weeks, I need it now. How can i fix this?

If you don't have any electronic background, i suggest let the professionals do it. You need to desolder that part.

yes its absolutly wrong pic , thats was not sim IC,ceyhan akcay is right ,
i saw various pics of shijil are stolen or wrong
