6300i Shortcut problem

Hi all,

Just looking for some help here with a small problem that has arisen.

I've got a 6300i and I've been trying to organise my shortcuts. I go into settings-shortcuts-and I click on the left navigation key to assign it. I then try and browse to the Application list so as to select a specific program to open. The problem is that when I click on Application List the screen goes white and it's like the phone sends me back to the desktop (for want of a better word). The phone signal also goes but comes back after a couple of seconds. It's like a mini-reboot

Also, I've noticed that my T9 dictionary is not saving new words. Maybe both problems are connected; maybe not?!

I have tried a factory reset and also reloading the firmware, which is version 7 incidently.

Anyway, any help would be great.
