Member: 50562 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi Guys, Again similar problem, signal drops after a few mins on a call and doesn't come back for up to 10 mins afterwards. All this antenna replacement, pa(???) stuff is over my head, is this definietly a HW problem or could it be the firmware? Would a Nokia Centre charge much to fix this? Thx |

Member: 7751 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 74 | @MAJESTIC PIRATE Hagar ??? Yeah like StudioGSM says, VERY intereting I would like to see that 6310i, lets say HELGA instead should we. Well for the HELGA I have repaired a few 6310i's by reballing/changing the HELGA, but the most proper cause on 6310i is PA. You have to know that you can actually subsitute this PA for a 3310 PA PFO8109B. Just remember that you will loose 1900 MHZ band. Also check antenna interface, same problem with this as with 6210, the "swicth over" switch which is inside the interafce takes care of external/internal antenna, if the phone have been in dusty places I've seen this get stuck in "external" mode. Hopes this helps Regards |
