6310i Imie???????? and phone restricted code - GSM-Forum

I have 6310i with "phone restricted code". when i tried to unlock it with griffin 2.08 it displays "sending data....FAILED". Its IMIE is being display as IMIE ??????????????????.*^ . I flashed it and it flashed but still the IMIE number is not OK. Please any solution?

try a imei rebuild...

or try this,
power phone on, wait 32 sec and see if phone powers off....LET ME KNOW...

are we talking minutes or seconds?
let me know if it powers off at exactly 32 seconds...

have you tried IMEI rebuild

Check with Griffin, Prodigy... what IMEI have UEM. If it's correct, then must you first "flash imei" rebuild. If it's not ok, then you must first UEM change and then rebuild UEM and flash imei.

u need to change UEM and then rebuild IMEI, (IMEI should be identical inside Flash and UEM) if not you will have this ???????????????? instead of your IMEI number.

after changing UEM phone should power on for more than 40 seconds, otherwise your UEM I.C is currupted or bad quality even if it powers the phone on.
