Member: 15928 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi Keke, I have the same problem. After the phone dropped keys 2,5,8 won't work. There are 2 small black chips in the bottom area of the pcb. I believe that this could be the problem because one of the chips seems to be chiped on the edge...? Sorry, I dont have their names....still looking for schematics! Regards AFR |

Member: 95872 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ok guys, the problem is really in the two BGA chips near the keypad connector. I was able to fix many of these whenever I had another 6600 to use as a donor. They are protection ICs similar to the one in 8310 near the sim connector. In 8310 we are able to take the chip off and put 3 shortcuts on the pins. Here it should be the same. The question is: what is the shcematic? |
