7110 no power via switch but will power via JIC Box - GSM-Forum

Please anybody got any ideas on how to overcome this problem.

The phone will turn on after I press info in JIC, and will shut off via switch. But after power off, syou can't turn on using switch. You need press 'info' in JIC. After a while, phone will not power with JIC also.. You need to flash the phone before it turns on in JIC. It is not the switch. I tried using other LCD module assembly.

try to flash the phone first with backup flash for 7110 it happened with me before and power was restored

I have the same problem with a 6210 the phone would not power up before using on jic box and when info was pressed it read the phone and powered up,tried flashing,upgrading,down grading but still no power by button the person whos phone it was admitted dropping it I assume it fractured the board as I have attached new power switch also
