7250i ALWAYS CONTACT SERVICE!!! - GSM-Forum

already changed UEM
rebuilt IMEI (using Griffin 2.0861 & GT SERVER)
erased phone (with 7250i_fullerase & noprot erase)
flashed ALL versions (NHL-4JX)
changed FLASH IC

STILL SAME!
any idea how to solve this prob?

hay,
run phoenix on self test , and tell us which part make " contact service" !

the way rebuild IMEI, have to apply "flash area" !

Sometime is impossible to repair "contact service".The official Nokia service center in London can repair only 40% of "contact service".

From this i believe the uem is ok, i would just advise you flash to 7250 , worse case change the screen after flashing

if i flash to 7250, and change LCD, all will be ok, and i will have 7250 phone.

BUT I WANT TO KNOW IS THERE ANY WAY TO REPAIR THIS TO HAVE 7250i PHONE?

hmmm
if you check on phoenix, then you will know reason !
most time it can be fix !

and:Fail - ST_SW_TYPE_VALIDITY_TEST

just apply flash rom area for rebuild IMEI !
read phone by griffin , and make ask with " FLASH AREA" !
and write rpl, all will be ok !

if after rebuild "flash area" still bad , then it mean, your MCU or FLASH ROM it self has problem !

MAY BE THERE IS A BUG IN GRIFFIN 2.0861? (Can not write PROD_DATA into 7250i)

hmm
i tried more then 5 times use GT to rebuild flash area, all ok for 2.0861 !
try to reball the MCU .. there is some problem location in address line ,, some thing wrong !

i have 6 pcs 7250i with EXACTLY the same problem.
so problem can not be in location of address line,etc..

Hi VsH-GsM

1.erase phone with 7250i_fullerase
2. flash phone winh new version MCU/PPM/CP/ NHL-4JX
3. write 7250i pm
4. make ask file for upgrade 7250i /repair ask , (not flash area ask !)
5. calculate with GT Server
6. write 7250i upgrade rpl file
7. unlock phone and phone will be alive
