3310 after re-heat sim not accepted?


HI! I got a 3310 with signal problem .. i re-heated the whole pcb .. it has philips PA in it, i heated that from the other side of the pcb .. at the end i tried the phone, and now i get simcard not accepted, the phone was unlocked!!! i tried to unlock it but it's the same, what to do? what went wrong? thanks!!

"rehot" will not help to repair your phone ,, you just try to kill the phone !

if Vcobba and Vbb is ok, then you need to reball COBBA !
OR MAD !

Hi! What exactly "reball" means? Replace it? I tried to rehot ,because the phone fell of the table!!

Reball means, that You must desold Cobba from pcb and create new balls on Cobba by using BGA repair kit, for example. After that, sold it again.

check with unlock program if locks been closed as i had few where by reflowing the locks would close........ just try unlock then..... or if more serious u could hav certain type contact service but good to check with wintesla for type of failure?? normally if contact service, software upgrade helps but not always!

this fault is software related download any nokia tool . purchase a serial cable then unlock the phone.

Replace the cobba IC and rebuild the IMEI.
