7650-lcd-line-works then not-plz help - GSM-Forum

hi guys

i have 7650,the keypad light was not workin,then i replace ribbon,now light is working,but lcd has lots of lines on it,i have to remove then place back battery few times then screen comes clear,i have replace workin lcd,n ribbon brand new original,and contacts all ok.

some times is works sometimes not,i fully flash with griffin to,can ribbon be problem or can it affect it,cause my griffin removes bottom kepad n flash,if i on phone with griffin power,lcd still with lines,but can ribbon still have effect on it?

if not could some1 plz inlighten me what can be wrong.

sorry to say but I think that your LCD is the problem!!!
I had few 7650 with missing lines on the LCD,on some of them the lines started to work fine by themself,on other I had to change LCD.
The bad thing is that I had 2 new LCD`s with missing lines!!Try with another LCD,then seewhat happens!!

i have almost same problem here but the difference is that mine dont show any thing
but little black horizontal lines on the lcd, this cant be lcd fault cus i have changed with three working lcd's.
if any have some ideas pls share cus i got 3 of this problem.

check contact connectr from board to lcd. maybe not good alignment.

it has to flex problem check for contact between flex and board

DO any one have this problem try to chang the LCD ic's ????
it can be also the reson for this problem also the UPP can make this error
