Member: 5246 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | @paygee No problem m8, just wanted it straightened out. People should call the parts as they are so as not to confuse our mates here. Some might think you are referring to a "resistor" and not the coil. |

Member: 17330 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | You are right. I was actually looking for a resistor. Now to the real problem Removed the coil, I still had the short. I guess I have to replace the PA. But where can I get a replacement? Who sells them? Thx |

Member: 17330 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | 1- Do you mean I should change the coil? Will this coil cause this problem? 2- Will the big resistor also cause this problem? I will try changing the flat ribbon cable I have changed the keypad board same problem As soon as I replace these, I will post results. Thx |

Member: 5246 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | When you remove the coil and there is still short, this means your PA is not faulty as you have just isolated the PA from the board by removing the coil... You will have to look for the short somewhere else. Try removing the LCD module and check for shorts.. or UEM... or AEM |
